Outreach
The Handmade Home is a venue for outreach activities such as soup kitchens, gift-giving, skills development seminars, and medical missions.

Friends of the Handmade Home help out to create, donate, distribute gifts for the residents of Barrio Banawang. The home becomes a source of joy for the community.
Wellness
Aside from the cob house, the place is surrounded by plants that will help create an environment of healing for any person who is feeling ill. This is also the contact point of visitors to a future permaculture site that will be developed in the area.

Education
Every now and then, visitors would like to experience the actual process of making cob. So, we give in and share the skills necessary to build a simple structure. In the future, the Handmade Home will be an educational center for community building where people will be able to learn not only cob making and natural building, but also preparing herbal medicines, creating handicrafts and accessories, tea-making, drawing, pottery and a lot more.
